Pencil Self Portrait 2013

You've certainly improved a great deal since your previous self portrait! Particularly with your technique. The shading is a lot smoother and the gradients in the hair are more fluid and sensical. I like the raised eyebrows, it provides a curiously adorable expression you don't typically see artists go for in self portraits. It also really looks like you, which is rather important for a self portrait! The lips appear a bit too turned towards the viewer, if that makes any sense. It's a little difficult to tell what the upper lip is doing. All in all, well done! Improvement is always something to be celebrated.
